In this article, I’m going to do Oppo A55 review. It is an excellent 4G smartphone. The smartphone was launched on October 1, 2021. The starting price of the device in India is 15,490 INR. It is manufactured with lots of features. This phone comes with advanced features such as a triple camera, Mediatek Helio G35 processor and 5000 mAh battery. This smartphone comes in two variants; the one is of 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. And, the other one has 4GB RAM along with 64GB of ROM.

Design and Display

The display size of this smartphone is 6.51-inch. The IPS panel comes with an HD+ resolution of 720×1600 pixels. Its IPS technology is among the top LCD technologies around the world. It has an aspect ratio of 20:9, with a pixel density of 269 PPI. It has a 60Hz refresh rate that keeps the device to become sluggish. It comes with a protecting shield of NEG T2X-1. Oppo created this phone with a stunning design. This phone’s length, breadth, and width are (163.6 x 75.7 8.4) in millimetres. The weight of the Oppo A55 is 193 grams. It comes in colours like rainbow blue as well as starry black and green. The middle frame of this device is slim with a 3D curving body that comfortably fits in your palm. The power button of this smartphone is located on the right, and the volume keys are situated on the left. In terms of security, this smartphone is equipped with an integrated fingerprint sensor on the backside of the smartphone.

Camera

Oppo is known because of its cameras. The phone has a triple rear camera. It comes with a 50-megapixel primary sensor as well as an f/1.8 aperture. Additionally, the device has an f/2.4-sized macro camera on the rear with an f/2.4 aperture. It comes with a 2-megapixel depth camera that has an f/2.4 aperture. It has a powerful processor. It is driven by the MediaTek MT6765G Helio G35 CPU. The processor in this device comes with an Octa-core (4×2.3 GHz Cortex A53 and 4×1.8 GHz Cortex A53). The phone has Oppo Color OS 11.1 and features like System Booster, Idle time Optimizer, and Storage Optimizer. The IMG PowerVR GE8320 GPU accompanies the SoC for graphics. It allows you to use multiple applications to browse the internet and play games on this phone with no lag.

 Battery

Oppo A55 has the largest Li-Po battery of 5000mAh. It is a non-removable battery that can support 18W of rapid charging. It can charge 47% of the battery within an hour and fully charge the smartphone in 2 hours 42 minutes. It can run continuously for 16.3 hours on battery life while watching videos, browsing social media, or playing games.

Connectivity

Oppo A55 has 2 nano sim cards supporting 4g, 3g and 2g. The connection options are Wi-Fi 802.11 A/B/G/N/AC and Bluetooth 5.0, which is extremely useful for listening to wirelessly music and making calls. It is also equipped with GLONASS GPS, as it supports USB Type C. Additionally, it comes with a 3.5-millimetre audio jack. Oppo A55 comes with many sensors. It has a fingerprint sensor, an accelerometer, proximity sensor, a gyroscope, and a compass used to determine the direction.
